Wanaha Tucannon Wilderness Area
Trip One:
May 2001 - This was too early in the year to be able to drive into the trail head. We ended up having to park 5 miles from the trailhead and hence weren't able to complete the entire loop. There was also a huge outbreak of ticks at this time of the year. You can see us looking through each other's hair for ticks. ____________________________________________________
Trip Two:
July 2003 - This time around I hiked it with Rob Adair. We were able to drive to the trailhead and therefore were able to complete the loop. I decided to go super lite on this trip so we didn't take a tent and I didn't even take a sleeping bag. It was nice during the day to not have the weight but I did end up getting really cold at night and slept like crap.
